This American Double Pedestal Flat-top Desk, similar to one that was produced in England during the Chippendale Period, belongs to Raymond Greenwell. It was located inside his home library in Moosnick, Virginia. The desk style dates back to 1840-1880. This model has black walnut wood grain, mushroom turned wooden knobs, inset metal keyhole surrounds, and a decorative element underneath the kneehole – all historically accurate. The desk top is styled with green leather and gold inlay.
